My experience with Fourth Dimension Doulas was amazing. Rose is very knowledgeable, empathic, caring, intuitive, attentive, honest, warm and able to adapt to any situation as it arises. She is good at keeping her calm and staying centered in stressful situations which was much needed for my ‘anxious self’. The level of support she provides is unlike anything I’d ever imagined- from handling hospital admissions to talking to care providers on my behalf, from hydration to honey sticks to keep me going, to counter pressure and words of encouragement when I thought I couldn’t go on much longer- she was able to tune into me and anticipate exactly what I needed in every moment! Not to mention all the care and resources she provided before and after birth. I am forever grateful!

Sometimes you you don't know exactly what you need as you enter into a new phase of your life, in this case pregnancy.

Most of the times the special ways we could take care of ourselves we dismiss because we think we can handle it. Kat is one of the warmest people I know-she is loving, supportive, strong, and empowers others. She is bright and as a doula not living in my neighborhood did a ton of research to support me in caring for myself and finding the best resources near me for the questions I had. She is a mom and really understands the fear and also general discomfort one has during different points in pregnancy and postpartum. Anything I needed and still need now-she is here for me and supports me. I really feel like I hit the jackpot having her with me throughout this process.

Kat was phenomenal with my husband, the doctors, the nurses and the hospital staff. She stood by my side caring for me and was my advocate but didn’t overstep. She knew exactly how to be her role in the room. She even brought the staff a gift! I look forward to watching Kat continue on this journey and hope to have her next to me at all of my future births. She really made me feel seen, loved, and supported-she still checks in. I appreciate her and her knowledge and general understanding and ability to really meet you where you are-any time I was freaking out or crying or anxious she just got me and she was there. I really feel like any woman would benefit having her by their side.
